Our Journey Begins Here
Since 2017, we've championed eco-friendly leather solutions, blending innovation with care for the environment.
Dr. Cecilia, a researcher at Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO), conducted a survey among SMEs in the leather industry. This survey unveiled a multitude of challenges plaguing the leather sector.
Lack of Eco-Friendly Technologies and inability to access market
The most prominent challenges were the limited access of SMEs to eco-friendly technologies, supplies and technical expertise, necessary to meet stringent quality and environmental standards.
The Genesis of Innovation
Motivated by the desire to address these challenges, Dr. Cecilia embarked on a tireless journey. From 2017 to 2020, she dedicated herself to research and development, resulting in the creation of a groundbreaking prototype—an innovative machine for producing organic tanning agents and an eco-friendly leather processing recipe.
